Founded in 1981, Barton United Football Club are based in Headington, Oxford and started life as a boys football club. Over many years they have also branched out into providing girls football although have always struggled to sign enough players to be competitive within a league. However, a new Womens football team has been formed, and will be looking to join a league for the 2012/13 season.
Over recent years we have also provided a Sunday League Men's team, and we also welcome a newly formed Mens team to Barton United for the 2011/12 season, who will be competing in the Upper Thames Valley Premier League.
During this 2011/12 season, Barton United FC, will be competing with 5 Youth teams (Under 8's, Under 9's, Under 10's, Under 12's and Under 13's), and a Senior Mens team. The club are always on the lookout for new players, of any ability, so please get in contact if you, or anyone you know wishes to join us.
Off the field the club are delighted to announce the completion and opening of the new pavillion, which was completed in August. It has replaced the old Pavillion, which was demolished in May.
